Charlotte de Sauve
Charlotte gold earring is the embodiment of the sensuality and generosity of those noblewomen mistresses; it's beautifully crowned by a beautiful diamond accompanied by a marquise cut Diamond
Charlotte de Sauve was a French noblewoman and a mistress of King Henry of Navarre, who later ruled as King Henry IV of France. She was a member of Queen Mother Catherine de' Medici's notorious "Flying Squadron" (L'escadron volant in French), a group of beautiful female spies and informants recruited to seduce important men at Court, and thereby extract information to pass on to the Queen Mother.
These earrings are part of the LA MARQUIS collection. Inspired by spring in Paris, this collection designed with flowers elements, gently combined with diamonds and gold parts, reminding us of the bees and flies that are part of the art nouveau age.
