she was a copywriter, spending her time working for some big corporation .Yisgav was an accountant, living a grey unfulfilled life.
Shortly after they met, Yisgav shared with Ginat his dream of becoming a designer. They thought they should create jewelry- everybody loves jewelry, we all love buying them as gifts, receiving them from A loved one and cherishing them for a lifetime.
They started off by making a brass, gold plated jewelry. Instantly their designs became a huge hit and was sold massively across Israel. They worked around the clock, showed in many different trade shows all over the country and were sold out every single time.
At that time, they presented the brand as “jewelry for princesses”, they introduced the ring stacking trend to the Israeli crowd and they called ourselves HOTCROWN.
Fashion journalists were crazy about them and the amount of love received from customers was tremendous.
In 2014, full of excitement, Yisgav proposed to Ginat with a diamond ring he designed and created on his own.
On the night Yisgav was off to his bachelor's party in Cyprus something horrible occurred- someone broke into their warehouse and stole EVERYTHING!
Needless to say they were devastated. Fashion columns wrote about it throughout the country and loyal customers started a kickstarter which helped cover the loss.
They were on the verge of giving up, but the amount of love we received from customers was just overwhelming. It helped them through the crisis and they decided to keep the brand alive in one condition- customers will ALWAYS be the inspiration.
They finally were able to open their own brick and mortar shop in the most popular, high end street in Tel-Aviv- Dizengoff street.
That is when they decided to focus on making only gold jewelry and stop the gold plating completely.
Today with one shop in Tel-Aviv and an online shop selling to customers around the globe, offices and a productive studio of their own, They are working hard living the dream daily and making customers happy with their designs.
